INGAL SSQ

INGAL SSQ has been developed to provide a higher level of surface finish through careful attention to design, steel chemistry, surface preparation and handling through the INGAL process followed by special attention to detailing during the inspection process. INGAL SSQ can be used as a stand-alone finish where exposed steelwork is required to have a smoother and more uniform surface than standard hot dip galvanized coatings. In addition, INGAL SSQ is ideal as a heavy-duty substrate for paint coatings, providing a smooth base for the application of architectural finishes. INGAL SSQ gives specifiers the opportunity to negotiate their own special surface quality requirements, without compromising the durability that comes with INGAL SSQ’s compliance with Australian (AS/NZS 4680:1999) and International (ISO 1461:1999) standards for steel items galvanized after fabrication.
