Industrial galvanizers (Melbourne) offers a full range of general and specialised hot dip galvanizing services, with three galvanizing baths for processing structural fabrications, centrifuging small parts and galvanizing gas bottles. These facilities give the Melbourne plant the capacity to galvanize up to 35,000 tonnes of steel annually.

The facility is QA Accredited to ISO9001:2000 and warrants its hot dip galvanized coatings to meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 4680:2006.

The galvanizing bath dimensions are:

Structural bath
Length: 12.5 metres
Width: 1.8 metres
Depth: 2.6 metres

Maximum lifting capacity 6 tonnes
Maximum double dipping length. 18-23 metres depending on beam web height.

Centrifuge bath
Length 6.0 metres
Width: 1.2 metres
Depth: 1.8 metres

Gas Bottle bath
Length: 4.2 metres
Width: 1.8 metres
Depth: 1.2 metres
